Why are all the user reviews on Rab website talking about wetting out so easily for all of these?

Excellent..... Does this come with wind or storm rating for camping in Australia

I have broad shoulders and chest and my Patagonia synthetic and down mid layers are a large and fit me perfectly. Rab states this is a regular fit jacket when it is actually slim fit. So after seeing good reviews for this jacket I ordered a large online from the US ( I am in Australia). The large is way too tight around the chest and tapers down the torso like a Women’s jacket. Is feels far too restrictive on, particularly when I wanted to use it as a mid layer for skiing. Rab in Australia refused to swap it for the XL so I’m stuck with a $300+ jacket I can’t use. Rab wont be getting anymore of my business. I’ll stick with Patagonia who really look after their customers.

You didn't do a size comparison of the tents packed up before setting them up

I saw one of these tents at go outdoors the other day, not sure it'll hold up to heavy rain, never felt tent material like it before.

im a 65 year old pensioner who in the past has always done heavy duty boots but i have a broad foot and artheritis so dont do the milage any more normally i take a size 11 but none were in stock at the goutdoors loughbro store so i tried a 12 but they fit a treat .Nice and soft underfoot . all things considered try a larger size than you normally do ....glad i did

Got the bobcat .I'm out in it for the first time next week .for me the bobcat is the gem of the range as it provides loads of space for 1 man and his kit at less than 1kg .it could also sleep 2 people if you drop the inner out and put a ground sheet in instead .as an emergency shelter .dog can sleep in the porch .

I don't like the colour! For me, it's a total bust! All tents should be either green or brown! It ought to be made a legal requirement! 😂

Well after all these years our Apache 6 finally died - some scumbags destroyed it at a festival my son was attending with friends - and they stole just about all their possessions! Awful people. So that REALLY sucked but what sucks now is that Freedom Trail no longer make this amazing tent! I'd have bought another 6 person in a heartbeat.

Where does the Men's Kinetic 2.0 Jacket, Men's Kinetic Alpine 2.0 Jacket, and Latok fit in? Which RAB jacket would you chose for travel; city walking, light trail duty, and packable? Thoughts? I have lots of Fjällräven and ArcTeryx gear, but want something lighter, more package, but really waterproof. Does the downpour fit the same as the firewall? Thoughts? Thanks

I watched this to learn how to install the front disk brake 😢

Top tips there, leave the inner inside, measure the folds against the bag and most importantly start rolling with the poles and pegs inside to help push out the air. Thank you

Most people do D of E in school, they push for the pupils that are troubled to do it as its good for them but most parents simply can't afford the D of E recommended kit. They don't have £300 to spend. Most of the time they will use the Kit of D of E twice and that's it.

So I went to go outdoors to check out this back pack as it looks a lot more sturdy than my current Rab Aeon 27l , The only thing that puts me off is the water bottle pockets on the side of the pack aren't stitched all the way around and one side is only held shut by a plastic clip attached to a cord. I don't think it would take much for a smaller bottle or flash to slip out from under the cord. I also found that the bottle side pockets and front stash pocket aren't elasticated or made out of a mesh material. I understand the reason for using the existing material over elasticated mesh if your aim is durability but I usually use the front mesh stash pocket on a pack to dry out damp items. The existing material used for this front stash pocket doesn't look breathable but more catered towards waterproofing and durability.

If it's that good ?, why are they not doing it in there bigger packs 50l to 70l packs ???

Suggest you look at the number of meindl failure of their boots on the internet . Mine, which I had not used for a while, The sole completely came off on one boot and the other boot the sole was beginning to split away. although I have had these for a while and they had had very little use they were out of warranty. Considering the cost of these walking boots this is not what one would expect of a high quality boot.

It’s always important to wear more than you need and then you can take it off. Great advice for new beginners.
